Kinshasa, la capitale de la R\u00e9publique D\u00e9mocratique du Congo, se pr\u00e9pare \u00e0 accueillir un \u00e9v\u00e9nement politique majeur ce samedi 20 Janvier 2024, avec la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie de prestation de serment du Pr\u00e9sident \u00e9lu, Felix Tshisekedi. Serge Tshibangu, haut repr\u00e9sentant du pr\u00e9sident congolais, a annonc\u00e9 que cette c\u00e9r\u00e9monie verra la participation de dix-huit chefs d’\u00c9tat, deux vice-pr\u00e9sidents et quatre anciens chefs d’\u00c9tat. Cette annonce a \u00e9t\u00e9 faite lors d’une conf\u00e9rence de presse au Stade des Martyrs.<\/p>\n

Selon Tshibangu, la majorit\u00e9 des dirigeants confirm\u00e9s sont issus de pays africains. Il a \u00e9galement mentionn\u00e9 que Joseph Kabila, pr\u00e9d\u00e9cesseur de Tshisekedi et s\u00e9nateur \u00e0 vie, a \u00e9t\u00e9 invit\u00e9 pour la deuxi\u00e8me fois. Leur relation a \u00e9t\u00e9 tendue depuis l\u2019\u00e9change de pouvoir il y a cinq ans, avec des divergences notables sur diverses questions politiques. Cependant, Kabila, connu pour sa discr\u00e9tion m\u00e9diatique, n’a pas confirm\u00e9 sa pr\u00e9sence, alimentant des sp\u00e9culations sur son absence potentielle.<\/p>\n

L’agence de presse congolaise ACP a publi\u00e9 une liste de vingt-deux chefs d’\u00c9tat invit\u00e9s, incluant des personnalit\u00e9s comme Evariste Ndahishimiye du Burundi, Brice Oligui du Gabon, Cyril Ramaphosa d’Afrique du Sud, et d’autres. Le bureau du pr\u00e9sident burundais a confirm\u00e9 la participation de Ndayishimiye et son \u00e9pouse. Notamment, le pr\u00e9sident rwandais Paul Kagame et le pr\u00e9sident ougandais Yoweri Museveni ne figurent pas sur la liste, refl\u00e9tant peut-\u00eatre les tensions r\u00e9gionales en cours.<\/p>\n

En marge de la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie officielle, des manifestations sont pr\u00e9vues par les opposants politiques de Tshisekedi. Mo\u00efse Katumbi, Martin Fayulu et Anzuluni Bembe, ayant respectivement obtenu 18%, 4.9% et 0.8% des voix, ont appel\u00e9 \u00e0 des protestations contre ce qu’ils consid\u00e8rent comme des \u00e9lections entach\u00e9es de fraude. Le porte-parole du gouvernement, Patrick Muyaya, a assur\u00e9 que des mesures de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 ad\u00e9quates sont en place, tout en avertissant les r\u00e9sidents de Kinshasa de ne pas c\u00e9der \u00e0 la panique lors de la traditionnelle salve de 21 coups de canon marquant l’investiture du pr\u00e9sident.<\/p>\n
