Dans la nuit du vendredi au samedi 17 f\u00e9vrier 2024, l’a\u00e9roport international de Goma a \u00e9t\u00e9 la cible d’un bombardement survenu \u00e0 2 heures du matin. D’apr\u00e8s des t\u00e9moignages recueillis sur place, au moins deux engins explosifs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 largu\u00e9s sur le site, entra\u00eenant des d\u00e9g\u00e2ts mat\u00e9riels. \u00c0 ce stade, aucune d\u00e9claration officielle n’a \u00e9t\u00e9 faite par les autorit\u00e9s concern\u00e9es.<\/p>\n

Cependant, des informations provenant de sources diverses sugg\u00e8rent que ces attaques pourraient avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 orchestr\u00e9es depuis Kibumba, une zone o\u00f9 les forces rebelles du M23 et des \u00e9l\u00e9ments de l’arm\u00e9e rwandaise sont soup\u00e7onn\u00e9s d’avoir d\u00e9ploy\u00e9 des armements \u00e0 longue port\u00e9e. Cette r\u00e9gion est actuellement le th\u00e9\u00e2tre d’une escalade des hostilit\u00e9s, mettant en lumi\u00e8re les tensions persistantes dans l’est de la R\u00e9publique D\u00e9mocratique du Congo (RDC).<\/p>\n

La situation s\u00e9curitaire dans l’est de la RDC est au centre des pr\u00e9occupations r\u00e9gionales, comme en t\u00e9moigne le mini-sommet qui se tient \u00e0 Addis-Abeba depuis le vendredi 16 f\u00e9vrier, r\u00e9unissant des dirigeants de la r\u00e9gion, dont F\u00e9lix Tshisekedi du Congo et Paul Kagame du Rwanda. Les discussions visent \u00e0 trouver une r\u00e9ponse concert\u00e9e aux d\u00e9fis s\u00e9curitaires qui p\u00e8sent sur la r\u00e9gion, notamment autour de Goma.<\/p>\n

Malgr\u00e9 cet incident, le fonctionnement de l’a\u00e9roport de Goma n’a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 interrompu. Un journaliste local rapporte que le trafic a\u00e9rien a repris son cours normal d\u00e8s le matin du samedi, avec des vols internationaux et domestiques atterrissant et d\u00e9collant sans perturbation notable.<\/p>\n

Des analystes estiment que ces attaques pourraient repr\u00e9senter une strat\u00e9gie de la part du M23 et du Rwanda pour exercer une pression sur le gouvernement congolais et la communaut\u00e9 internationale. L’objectif serait de se positionner favorablement dans des eventuelles n\u00e9gociations et les dialogues en cours, d’autant plus que le Rwanda est directement impliqu\u00e9 dans les pourparlers, joue un r\u00f4le de soutien diplomatique au M23. Cette man\u0153uvre s’inscrit dans un contexte o\u00f9 la diplomatie et les actions militaires sont \u00e9troitement li\u00e9es, refl\u00e9tant la complexit\u00e9 des enjeux politiques et s\u00e9curitaires de la r\u00e9gion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
