Dans un communiqu\u00e9 publi\u00e9 ce 23 juin depuis Montr\u00e9al, le Dr Hakizimana a dress\u00e9 le bilan de son mandat, qu\u2019il d\u00e9crit comme une p\u00e9riode marqu\u00e9e par une intense collaboration entre les partis membres, tant sur le plan m\u00e9diatique que diplomatique. Le travail de la Plateforme a notamment port\u00e9 sur les tensions persistantes dans la r\u00e9gion des Grands Lacs, en particulier la guerre men\u00e9e par le r\u00e9gime de Kigali en R\u00e9publique D\u00e9mocratique du Congo, qualifi\u00e9e de \u00ab guerre d\u2019agression \u00bb aux cons\u00e9quences d\u00e9vastatrices.<\/p>\n

Le communiqu\u00e9 d\u00e9nonce \u00e9galement les atteintes aux droits humains commises \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur du Rwanda. Il cite, \u00e0 titre d\u2019exemple, l\u2019arrestation le 19 juin 2025 de Mme Victoire Ingabire Umuhoza, figure embl\u00e9matique de l\u2019opposition, arr\u00eat qualifi\u00e9e d\u2019arbitraire. Pour la P4, cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement illustre les d\u00e9rives autoritaires du r\u00e9gime de Kigali.<\/p>\n

La plateforme P4 r\u00e9affirme sa volont\u00e9 de poursuivre son action en faveur de l\u2019\u00c9tat de droit et de la d\u00e9mocratie au Rwanda. Dans ce contexte, le Dr Hakizimana a exprim\u00e9 ses v\u0153ux de r\u00e9ussite \u00e0 son successeur, M. Jean-Baptiste Ryumugabe, assurant de sa pleine collaboration.<\/p>\n
