Le porte-parole des FARDC, le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral L\u00e9on Kasonga, l\u2019a annonc\u00e9 dimanche 31 ao\u00fbt \u00e0 Radio Okapi.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Bahuma a \u00e9t\u00e9 attaqu\u00e9 par l\u2019AVC jeudi \u00e0 Kasese en Ouganda vers 20h30 locales, alors qu\u2019il prenait part avec\u00a0 son homologue ougandais \u00e0 une rencontre dans le cadre des consultations p\u00e9riodiques mixtes pour l\u2019\u00e9valuation de la situation s\u00e9curitaire \u00e0 la fronti\u00e8re commune, a pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Kasonga, lisant un communiqu\u00e9 officiel du minist\u00e8re de la D\u00e9fense nationale.<\/p>\n<p>Le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Lucien Bahuma\u00a0avait jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le important dans le succ\u00e8s des FARDC contre les rebelles et miliciens dans la province du Nord-Kivu.<\/p>\n<p><b>CNDP, M23, ADF\u2026<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Il avait fait partie de l\u2019\u00e9quipe qui avait combattu contre le CNDP de Laurent Nkunda, il y a quelques ann\u00e9es. Et en 2013, il coordonnait l\u2019op\u00e9ration \u00abPomme verte\u00bb, plac\u00e9e sous le commandement du colonel Mamadou Ndala, qui a d\u00e9fait la r\u00e9bellion du M23 cr\u00e9\u00e9e par des \u00e9l\u00e9ments issus du CNDP.<\/p>\n<p>A Beni, le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Lucien Bahuma\u00a0\u00e9tait jusqu\u2019\u00e0 sa mort le commandant en charge de l\u2019op\u00e9ration \u201cSokola\u201d (Nettoyez), visant d\u00e9sarmer les rebelles ougandais des ADF.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Lire aussi:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/radiookapi.net\/actualite\/2012\/07\/12\/le-nouveau-commandant-des-fardc-au-nord-kivu-visite-les-militaires-engages-au-front-kibumba\/\">Le nouveau commandant des FARDC au Nord-Kivu visite les militaires engag\u00e9s au front \u00e0 Kibumba<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Il avait \u00e9t\u00e9 nomm\u00e9 en juillet 2012 commandant de la 8e r\u00e9gion militaire, en remplacement du g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Mayala, affect\u00e9 \u00e0 la 2\u00e8 r\u00e9gion militaire au Bas-Congo. Jusqu\u2019\u00e0 sa nomination, le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Bahuma \u00e9tait le commandant de la 5e r\u00e9gion militaire, au Kasa\u00ef-Oriental.<\/p>\n<p>N\u00e9 le 26 juin 1957 \u00e0 Yangambi dans la Province Orientale, le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Bahuma Ambamba avait fait partie de la onzi\u00e8me promotion de l\u2019Ecole de formation des officiers EFO\/Kananga. Il avait par ailleurs subi plusieurs formations militaires au\u00a0 sein de la Division sp\u00e9ciale pr\u00e9sidentielle (DSP) sous Mobutu.<\/p>\n<p>Il avait exerc\u00e9 les fonctions de commandant du centre d\u2019entrainement commando de Pambwa dans le Nord-Ubangi, peu avant la chute du r\u00e9gime de Mobutu.
