Auteur de plusieurs ouvrages, il a notamment publi\u00e9 \u00c7a ne s\u2019est pas pass\u00e9 comme \u00e7a \u00e0 Kigali en 2003 et Les secrets d\u2019Option Canada, en collaboration avec Normand Lester. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 le candidat du Parti qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois dans la circonscription de Saint-Henri\u2014Sainte-Anne lors de l\u2019\u00e9lection g\u00e9n\u00e9rale qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise de 2007. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Robin Philpot est un auteur, \u00e9diteur, r\u00e9dacteur, traducteur, et journaliste qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois d\u2019origine ontarienne. Il est dipl\u00f4m\u00e9 en histoire et en lettres de l\u2019universit\u00e9 de Toronto. Il a v\u00e9cu pr\u00e8s de trois ans en Afrique francophone dont deux au Burkina Faso o\u00f9 il a enseign\u00e9 l\u2019anglais et l\u2019histoire. Depuis l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 1994, Robin Philpot (et son fr\u00e8re, Me John Philpot), fait tout ce qu\u2019il peut pour donner la voix aux sans-voix rwandais et africains de la r\u00e9gion des grands lacs africains, \u00e0 travers des livres, des articles de presse, des conf\u00e9rences nationales et internationales, sans oublier bien s\u00fbr son \u00e9mission sur la station de radio CKVL 100.1 FM \u201cLe pied \u00e0 Papineau\u201d dans laquelle il donne r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement des entrevues in\u00e9dites en rapport avec les \u00e9v\u00e8nements de cette r\u00e9gion africaine. Auteur de plusieurs ouvrages t\u00e9moignant de son engagement pour la recherche de la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 des faits, Il a notamment publi\u00e9 \u201cRwanda. Crimes, mensonges et \u00e9touffement de la v\u00e9rit\u00e9\u201d, Montr\u00e9al, Les Intouchables. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En 2013, il publie en Anglais aux \u00e9ditions Baraka Books, Montr\u00e9al, \u201cRwanda and the New Scramble for Africa: From Tragedy to Useful Imperial Fiction\u201d livre \u00e0 travers lequel il montre comment s\u2019est organis\u00e9e l\u2019op\u00e9ration de d\u00e9stabilisation et le remodelage de la r\u00e9gion des grands lacs africains par les grands de ce monde.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Robin Philpot est un journaliste et un essayiste qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois d\u2019origine ontarienne.
