Il dirigeait plus de 400 troupes de diff\u00e9rentes nationalit\u00e9s dans la zone de Kigali.\u00a0<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dans cette entrevue, le Col. Marchal rappelle les \u00e9v\u00e9nements qui ont amen\u00e9 l&rsquo;ONU \u00e0 d\u00e9ployer des troupes de maintien de la paix au Rwanda, dont l&rsquo;invasion du Rwanda en 1990 par le Front patriotique rwanda (FPR) et les accords de paix d&rsquo;Arusha d&rsquo;ao\u00fbt 1993 qui pr\u00e9voyait le partage du pouvoir et des \u00e9lections libres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il d\u00e9crit la nature de la collaboration qu&rsquo;il a eue avec les Forces arm\u00e9es rwandaises (gouvernementales) mais aussi la l&rsquo;absence de collaboration avec le FPR, \u00ab\u00a0\u00e0 couteaux tir\u00e9s\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Selon lui, il ne fait aucun doute que le FPR, dirig\u00e9 par Paul Kagame, a abattu l&rsquo;avion transportant le pr\u00e9sident rwandais, Juv\u00e9nal Habyarimana, le pr\u00e9sident burundais, Cyprien Ntaryamira, mais aussi le chef d&rsquo;\u00c9tat major des Forces rwandaises D\u00e9ogratias Nsabimana. Et il explique pourquoi.
