COMMUNIQU\u00c9 DE PRESSE No 2019\/05\/19 <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Plateforme MRCD a suivi avec int\u00e9r\u00eat, Vendredi le 17\/05\/2019, la pr\u00e9sentation \u00e0 la presse et au public de notre camarade le Major Callixte Sankara, Pr\u00e9sident du RRM, deuxi\u00e8me Vice-Pr\u00e9sident du MRCD et ancien Porte-Parole des FLN. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nous \u00e9mettons de vives r\u00e9serves quant au d\u00e9roulement de la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie, surtout le fait que notre camarade le Major Sankara a \u00e9t\u00e9 exhib\u00e9 comme un tronc de bananier, menott\u00e9 et vigoureusement appr\u00e9hend\u00e9, de mani\u00e8re qu’il n’ait pas pu ouvrir sa bouche ne serait-ce que pour saluer l’assistance, alors que c’est sa seule parole qui pouvait attester que sa sant\u00e9 physique et mentale est jusque-l\u00e0 pr\u00e9serv\u00e9e. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nous r\u00e9futons vigoureusement le chef d’accusation \u00ab\u00a0terrorisme\u00a0\u00bb all\u00e9gu\u00e9 par le porte-parole du RIB (Rwandan Investigation Bureau), puisque le texte de loi qui fonde cette accusation est post\u00e9rieur au d\u00e9but de la lutte par les FLN, ce qui prouve que ledit texte est tout juste une arme pour contrecarrer les FLN ainsi que tout rwandais qui, \u00e0 l’avenir, osera se soulever contre le r\u00e9gime dictatorial du G\u00e9n\u00e9ral Paul Kagame. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nous avons accueilli avec satisfaction la d\u00e9signation d’office de Me Mo\u00efse Nkundabarashi comme avocatconseil de notre camarade le Major Sankara. Me Nkundabarashi s’est lui-m\u00eame dit sous pression dans la gestion de ce dossier. Ceci nous am\u00e8ne \u00e0 demander \u00e0 la puissance publique de renoncer \u00e0 toute ing\u00e9rence dans le cours de ce dossier. Comme le reste du peuple rwandais, le MRCD suivra scrupuleusement ce proc\u00e8s. Nous esp\u00e9rons que Me Nkundabarashi fera preuve de courage et de professionnalisme, et nous lui souhaitons du bon travail, un travail qui rehausse son nom ainsi que le nom de l’ensemble du Barreau, un travail qui fasse honneur \u00e0 l’id\u00e9al de justice dans notre pays. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Au Ministre de la Justice Johnston Busingye, lui qui a dans ses attributions l’organisation judiciaire ainsi que la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et la sant\u00e9 des d\u00e9tenus, nous demandons de : <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Autoriser Major Sankara \u00e0 \u00eatre examin\u00e9 par un m\u00e9decin ind\u00e9pendant et de son choix ; <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Faire cesser imm\u00e9diatement tout actes de pers\u00e9cution et de torture \u00e0 l’endroit du Major Sankara ; <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Autoriser les amis et les organisations de d\u00e9fense des droits humains \u00e0 acc\u00e9der au Major Sankara. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
