Il s\u2019agit d\u2019une d\u00e9cision tr\u00e8s inattendue, \u00e9tant donn\u00e9 que le Dr Kayumba a r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 maintes reprises qu\u2019il n\u2019est pas un politicien dans les nombreuses interviews et apparitions dans les m\u00e9dias qu\u2019il a tenues pendant de nombreuses ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le Dr Kayumba est ma\u00eetre de conf\u00e9rences \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole de journalisme de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 du Rwanda depuis plus de 15 ans. En d\u00e9cembre 2019, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 arr\u00eat\u00e9 \u00e0 la suite d\u2019un incident \u00e0 l\u2019a\u00e9roport international de Kigali apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 violent et avoir menac\u00e9 de \u00ab\u00a0fermer\u00a0\u00bb l\u2019a\u00e9roport, selon la police. Il sera ensuite traduit en justice et condamn\u00e9 \u00e0 un an de prison.
