Le t\u00e9moin pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 par l\u2019accusation, Michelle Martin, une citoyenne am\u00e9ricaine, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 devant la cour qu\u2019elle avait \u00e9t\u00e9 employ\u00e9e par le gouvernement rwandais en 2012 pour du soutien acad\u00e9mique. Les proches de l\u2019opposant l\u2019accusent d\u2019\u00eatre un agent du gouvernement rwandais et d\u00e9noncent une parodie de justice.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Michelle Martin a d\u00e9but\u00e9 son t\u00e9moignage en se pr\u00e9sentant comme une ancienne volontaire au sein de la fondation H\u00f4tel Rwanda de&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rfi.fr\/fr\/afrique\/20210216-rwanda-de-h%C3%A9ros-de-hollywood-%C3%A0-prisonnier-accus%C3%A9-de-terrorisme-la-chute-de-paul-rusesabagina\">Paul Rusesabagina<\/a><\/strong>. Devant les juges, elle a assur\u00e9 avoir eu acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des&nbsp;<em>e-mails&nbsp;<\/em>et des conversations qui prouvent que l\u2019opposant \u00e9voluait au sein d\u2019un r\u00e9seau n\u00e9gationniste du&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rfi.fr\/fr\/podcasts\/chemins-d-%C3%A9criture\/20210305-dans-l-avant-et-l-apr%C3%A8s-du-g%C3%A9nocide-des-tutsi-avec-b%C3%A9ata-umubyeyi-mairesse\">g\u00e9nocide des Tutsi<\/a><\/strong>, et qu\u2019il soutenait des rebelles dans le but de d\u00e9stabiliser le gouvernement rwandais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mais \u00e0 la fin de son audition, elle a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 embauch\u00e9e en 2012 par Kigali pour du soutien acad\u00e9mique. Un peu plus t\u00f4t, la fille de Paul Rusesabagina avait publi\u00e9 sur Twitter un document attestant que le t\u00e9moin s\u2019\u00e9tait enregistr\u00e9 comme repr\u00e9sentante d\u2019un gouvernement \u00e9tranger aupr\u00e8s des autorit\u00e9s am\u00e9ricaines en 2013.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ce document public, disponible sur le site du d\u00e9partement de la justice am\u00e9ricaine, comprend un contrat stipulant effectivement que Michelle Martin serait pay\u00e9e 5 000 dollars par mois pendant un an entre 2012 et 2013 par le gouvernement rwandais pour des services de consultance et de recherches au sujet de la diaspora rwandaise.PUBLICIT\u00c9<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00ab&nbsp;<em>C\u2019est un agent pay\u00e9 par Kigali. D\u00e8s le d\u00e9part, elle n\u2019\u00e9tait pas ind\u00e9pendante<\/em>&nbsp;\u00bb d\u00e9nonce Carine Kanimba, la fille de Paul Rusesabagina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Another witness on <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PaulKagame?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@PaulKagame<\/a>\u2019s payroll &#x1f602;&#x1f923; Michelle Martin showed up to perjure herself. Lors de sa derni\u00e8re comparution, il avait annonc\u00e9 qu&rsquo;il ne se pr\u00e9senterait plus devant les juges, estimant que son \u00ab&nbsp;<em>droit \u00e0 un proc\u00e8s \u00e9quitable n&rsquo;\u00e9tait pas respect\u00e9<\/em>&nbsp;\u00bb.
