Shadow Home Secretary Yvette Cooper has accused her opposite number Priti Patel of wasting £500,000 on chartering a jet to take asylum seekers to Rwanda “she knew never expected to fly”.
Ms Cooper described the policy to fly migrants to Africa to be processed as a “short term stunt” and “Government by gimmick”
