The United States’ government latest report on human rights situation in Rwanda is rather gloomy. The report on General Paul Kagame’s Rwanda is a catalogue of ”Arbitrary Deprivation of Life and Other Unlawful or Politically Motivated Killings”; ”Disappearance;” ”Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman, or Degrading Treatment or Punishment;” ”Arbitrary Arrest or Detention”; and ”Denial of Fair Public Trial.” Reading this American government’s document confirms that Rwanda is the North Korea of Africa, not the Singapore of Africa.
