KAGAME REJECTED UN INTERVENTION FORCE DURING GENOCIDE

By David Himbara

General Paul Kagame consistently rejected the UN intervention force to stop genocide.

In this interview on May 12, 1994 when genocide was going for a month, Kagame repeats his rejection to the UN intervention force.

As you see in this interview of May 12, 1994 Kagame said that the UN intervention force is “irrelevant” because “genocide is near its completion.”

As we now know, genocide ended in July 1994. Imagine how many people that could have been saved from May, June, and July 1994 if Kagame had not opposed UN intervention.
