Kagame’s electricity story is much worse than I thought. According to REG, the length of Kagame’s current transmission network is 370 km.
Of this, 253 km are high voltage (110kV). Only 96 km (70kV) network is connectable to homes and businesses.
Here is the worst part.
The distribution network of both high and medium voltage is composed of only 15 sub-stations in the entire Rwanda.

In the north

* RULINDO
In Kigali
* JABANA,
* GIKONDO,
* GASOGI,
* MONT KIGALI
In the East
* MUSHA,
* KABARONDO,
* RWINKWAVU
In the South

* KILINDA,
* KARONGI,
* KIBOGORA,
* MURURU 1,
* MURURU 2
In other words of the miserable 15 substations in the entire country 4 or 26% are in Kigali. The rest of the country has a mere 11 substations to connect them to electricity.
Mr Kagame, you are a powerful ruler without power.
